A session with me is not a set of pretty poses handed to your daughter one after another.
Before we start I look at her age, her level, her natural build,
her flexibility, the quality of her lines and how confidently she handles
her apparatus. If an element is not safe for her today, I know what to put in its place — something she can hold, that still looks beautiful in the frame. I have coached gymnasts and dancers since 2006, from three-year-olds in their first class to athletes competing internationally. That is the part you cannot see in a portfolio, and it is the part that decides how the images turn out.

PHOTO SHOOT FORMATS

Studio
A professional studio, light built specifically for the body in motion, and a concept we agree on in advance — colours, styling, mood, the story we want the images to tell. The most controlled of the formats, and the one where an artistic image can be built from nothing.
Best for: portraits with apparatus, ballet imagery, a first serious shoot.

Desert
An exclusive seasonal session in the desert, available from October to May. We shoot at sunrise or sunset, when the light is low and the sand holds its colour. The location and timing are chosen in advance, and the format takes a good part of the day.
Best for: a milestone — the end of a season, a birthday, a farewell shoot before a move.

Outdoor
A session on location in Dubai: the beach, a park, the city, architecture. The concept and timing are built around the light, the season and access to the chosen location.
Best for: a lighter, freer mood than the studio, with the city as part of the story.

Competition & backstage
Photographs of your athlete on the floor, and the quieter moments around it — the warm-up, the waiting, the last word from the coach, the breath before the music starts. Booked in advance for a specific competition.
Best for: a real record of the season, not a staged one.

Training process
Photos and video of real training — working on elements, repeating a difficult moment, the coach’s correction, the effort nobody sees on competition day. No studio light, no staging: I work around the session without interrupting it. A short highlight video can be added.
Best for: showing the work behind the result.

Mobile Studio
A full portrait studio set up right in club — backdrop and professional lighting, no travel, no unfamiliar place. Athlete is photographed individually in the hall they trains in every day, which is often exactly what a shy child needs. Shoot days are arranged with the club; you simply choose the package.
Best for: a first portrait shoot, younger athletes, clean competition-style portraits on a white background.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Free consultation
We talk before anything is booked — about your daughter, her level, what she loves, and what you want from the images. Concept, styling and colours are agreed here.
2. Preparation
I plan the light, the poses and the sequence of the shoot around her. You take care of the costumes; I will tell you what works and what does not.
3. The session
I direct throughout — there is nothing to know in advance and nothing to rehearse. Most children find it easier than they expected.
4. Your gallery
Selected images are professionally retouched and delivered through a personal online gallery, ready within ten working days.

BEFORE THE SHOOT
- Bring more than one costume.
- Competition leotards photograph beautifully, but so do simple practice clothes — they show the line of the body without competing with it.
- Hair and make-up are not included.
- For younger athletes, competition hair and light make-up are usually enough; for teenagers and adults I am happy to recommend someone.
- Let her sleep. A tired child photographs tired, and no amount of retouching fixes it.
- Come with something she wants. If she has a favourite element, a pose she is proud of, an image she has seen and loved — send it to me beforehand.
Let’s talk about your session
Packages and availability on request. Every session starts with a free consultation — there is no obligation, and it is the best way to work out which format suits her.

I was highly impressed with the photography services rendered by the talented Kamilla (Kamilla Khasanova Sports and Dance Photography) during the Angels Gymnastics Competition in Dubai in June 2025. Kamilla and her team demonstrated professionalism, punctuality, and effectively captured all significant moments. The footage quality was outstanding, and the editing was flawless, making it easy to relive the highlights.
